Before WetCover® Is added
After WetCover® is added

WetCover®

Water Loss and Heat Loss, what do they have in common?

Evaporation.

A pool needs to be heated for swimmers to enjoy it, however, heating the pool speeds up evaporation and water loss leading to higher utility costs.

Seems like a catch 22 doesn’t it?

Well, it doesn’t have to be….

In order to reduce the water loss and utility usage you simply need to reduce the rate at which the water evaporates.

Of course the standard method is a vinyl pool cover, floating, rolled up on reel on deck or rolled into the deck itself they all have one thing in common, during operating hours, they don’t help at all..

That is why WetCover was created. WetCover helps to reduce the amount of water lost, and gas/electricity used by heaters by simply reducing the rate of evaporation during the time a standard cover is not on the pool, or, if a standard cover is not in the budget, then to simply reduce the evaporation rate during none use hours.

How does it do this?

WetCover does it by creating a thin “blanket” across the surface of the water. As the water calms (between swimmers) the molecules in the WetCover grab hold of each other and create a floating barrier. This barrier will automatically form across the entire surface of the water, including the 0 depth entry areas, gutters, any exposed area. The surface tension of the WetCover keeps the water vapors in the pool, and reduces overall cost.

There is also an added benefit, when the WetCover forms the barrier over the surface, water vapors are not the only thing contained… So is your chlorine, so instead of off-gassing constantly, during the low use periods, the off-gas rate will also be slowed, helping to further reduce the costs associated with the pool.

WetCover can be dosed by hand, by metered pump or by a chemistry controller that is already operating your pool.

The WetCover solution is safe to swim in, and will organically break down after 72 hours in the water.
